Providing online information for the communities of the Arizona Outback
since 1997 ... www.AZOutback.net
The Arizona Outback (McMullen Valley) encompasses the vast Hwy 60 corridor that lies between the Harcuvar and Harquahala Mountain Ranges, traveling west from Wickenburg through McMullen Valley across to the Kofas, and on to Arizona's original "port of entry", Ehrenberg, AZ on the Colorado River.
The area is rich in history, gold mines, agriculture, cowboys and cattle drives, old miners and new enterprises. Vast open lands, mild winters, and the irresistible desert vistas make the area a favorite spot for winter snowbirds and off-road enthusiasts.
The desert dwellers that make this region their home, enjoy a unique lifestyle. No large shopping malls or busy rush hour traffic. Most make a daily habit of watching the sunset. Of drinking morning coffee while listening to the quail talk to their young. Of taking in a daily breath of the sweet smelling sage. Of saying hello to their neighbors. Most eagerly await the end of snowbird season, and just as eagerly welcome them back the next spring. The summer months are magical, full of secrets and surprises and hidden gems, all for the desert dwellers of the Arizona Outback.

The Chamber is your voice – advocating for the policies that foster economic growth, jobs, and new opportunities for your organization.

We advocate for public policy that will encourage economic growth and foster a healthy business climate. We also connect our members with other community leaders, so that together, we can develop innovative ideas to help our region thrive.
